What's real here, what isn't yet
The round ledger above is genuinely persisted (browser localStorage) and genuinely exportable as a portable JSON file, and the stats above (average score, best round, average putts, round-level fairways-hit % and greens-in-regulation %, and a last-5-vs-lifetime score trend) are computed live from that same real data — that part of "portable statistics and history ledger" is real today. Fairways/GIR can still be logged as a single count per round (optional, out of 14/18), or you can optionally log real hole-by-hole detail (par and score for any of the 18 holes) via "Add hole-by-hole detail" — when you do, your "Toughest hole" and "Best hole" (average strokes over/under par per hole number, across every round you've logged detail for) become real stats too, not just round-level ones. True per-hole detail is opt-in per round, so it's only as complete as what you choose to enter. The exported JSON file can also be imported back in (on this browser or any other), merging in any rounds not already present — that's real, manual, file-based portability across devices. Any logged round can also be edited in place (not just deleted and re-entered) if you misenter a score or date, hole detail included. What's still not built: automatic cross-device sync (import is a manual step, not a background sync), strokes-gained (which needs a real course-difficulty baseline, not just par), and a shareable public identity/profile. This page will be extended as those pieces become real.
